Much like our June evaluation, Forestier had a really good showing in a gym full of top tier talent. Her ability to play on or off the ball allows elite scoring guards to play alongside her. Forestier has a skill set that lends itself to being productive on both ends regardless of the scenarion. As she keeps working on her physical build, expect Forestier to be even better at playing through contact in a year's time. -- Brandon Clay
Forestier had a good weekend in a gym full of some of the country’s top perimeter kids like Deal, Lexi Blue, Emma Risch and Diana Collins. She just added an Arkansas offer this morning and has multiple new suitors since the spring eval weekends tipped off back in April. Forestier is shooting the ball well in addition to competing hard on the defensive end of the floor as well. In that regard, she is showing progress from where she was this time 12 months ago. -- Brandon Clay
Forestier is a wing with size and shooting ability. Her release is clean, and she can get the ball up and out quickly from the perimeter. In this evaluation she proved that she was more than just a spot up shooter. She hit shots off the move in transition and even turnaround jumpers in the lane. Her footwork and mechanics are evidence of the work she has put in to elevate her game. The next step for her game to take another step will be to tighten up her off the dribble game. Specifically learning how to change pace with the ball to create space is an area that will help her become more efficient.
Forestier was a first-time addition to our Academy setting but looks to be a fixture for years to come. She’ll train with us again in Austin, Texas this coming weekend. As a rising freshman, Forestier showed a unique blend of polish and upside at the same time. That coupled with her work ethic lead me to believe that she’s got plenty of growing left to do both physically and skill wise. That should be a scary proposition for opposing school coaches the next four years. -- Brandon Clay
