Rankings Release - 2026 & 2027
Bella Flemings

After an exciting and competitive summer the ProspectsNation.com staff, having crisscrossed the country and hitting all the major circuits, has updated the ELITE 150 rankings for the 2026 and 2027 classes.

2026 Storylines

The Tippy Top

There was very little change near the top of the rankings for the 2026 class.  Saniyah Hall held on to her top spot, followed by Kate Harpring, Oliviyah Edwards and Jerzy Robinson.  Hall, Harpring and Robinson added to their resumes by making the USA Basketball U19 National Team.

Risers

Bella Flemings has been on the ProspectsNation.com radar for a long time.  Her status as a top 25 player has been established since she stepped into the high school arena.  This summer there was an edge and focus about her game that showed she’s ready to take her skill set to the college game.  Despite being the focus of every opposing defense she led San Antonio’s Finest UA with 18.6 points per game and her points per possession were in the top 30 in the league and she finished her league play with an impressive 1.24 points per shot.

Sign(ing) Of The Times

Signing week is just over a month away and more than half of the top 20 is yet to commit.  This era of NIL before NLI has slowed the process at the top and has trickled down the ELITE 150. But NIL changes aren’t all to blame as colleges covet spring transfer cap space in a world where it’s free agency in women’s college basketball in all but name.

The recent commitments of McKenna Woliczko to Iowa and Jacy Abii to Notre Dame could start a domino effect that gets the rest of this classes undecideds to the finish line.

2027 Storylines

Savoury’s Rise

The work never lies.  And for Sydney Savoury it showed up in a major way this summer.  She led the Nike EYBL in scoring and more than that showed off a game that projects well to the next level. Her strength with the ball and overall mastery of getting to her spots was impressive, even with defenders shadowing her across the court.  Coming out of Michigan, which has some interesting rules that kept her from competing in some of the all star type events like Overtime Select, the 5-11 guard stayed the course and made her case for the top of the class.

Still Serving Special K

Kaleena Smith came into the club season ranked No. 1 and her play with 7 Days 3SSB proved it was warranted.  Her teams ducked no smoke all summer and she capped off her nearly flawless summer with a 3SSB championship.  The only blemish was an untimely injury that kept her from headlining the adidas Euro Camp team in Italy.

Top 10 Battle Is Fierce

From No. 2 ranked Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka to No. 10 Ryan Carter, there’s plenty of arguments to be made that the top 10 could be reshuffled on a monthly basis.  Jezelle Banks is a dynamic two-way player who, currently at No. 4, can play with anyone on any day.  Haylen Ayers missed a little time in the spring but the two-sport star proved she can score the ball as well as anyone in the class.  Then there’s all the front court competition from the likes of Jordyn Palmer, Caroline Bradley and Eve Long.

Slow Burn

The slow burn of commitment process is showing itself in 2027 too.  Not a single player in the top 25 has announced their commitment.  And while historically there isn’t a majority of kids committing this early, the fact that there are none shows how much the landscape has changed.
