This was my first time getting to evaluate Clark’s game on film. Her ability to play make from the guard position before playing a single official high school season game is noteworthy. She excels in open space looking to push the pace. As a true combo guard, Clark is capable of being impactful with or without the basketball in her hands. That’s a good sign for her positional versatility over the long run. In the halfcourt, Clark has shown that she can get downhill to finish but also can be effective in the midrange over time in the biggest of games. She already shoots it well from beyond the arc and from 12-15 feet when the opportunity presents itself. Expect Clark to be one of the more gifted offensive options inside the Lone Star State in her class. Defensively, Clark is willing to play the passing lane to make things happen. That type of defensive intensity usually results in a combination of deflections and steals. Clark moves well laterally and is impactful on the perimeter or help side as a shot changing option especially during school basketball season.
