Carter's game really took off over the summer with her Exodus NYC club program, playing all three perimeter positions. After getting the chance to play varsity as an eighth grader, Carter made the seamless transition to the club circuit where she played against elite high school talent. She looks even more comfortable so far this school season. Carter has numerous scholarship offers already from 2023 NCAA tournament participants — including: Georgia, Illinois and Maryland. -- Brandon Clay
Carter already projects as one of the country's best in her class. She's a capable scoring option in the backcourt while also possessing the skill to be a lead guard while initiating the offense. Playing for Exodus NYC, Carter was locked into one of the best individual matchups I witnessed all summer going toe-to-toe with Kate Harpring of Southeast All Stars. Harpring, who is a Class of 2026 Guard, has seen her recruitment explode over the last 12 months. Expect the same for Carter from now until the fall of 2024. Carter's club coach, Thomas Davis, does a fantastic job of allowing Carter the space to grow and play her own game at a young age. She's next in a long lineage of elite backcourt producers in the Exodus NYC pipeline that includes Bianca Cuevas, Bria Hartley, Marina Mabrey and Epiphanny Prince amongst others. -- Brandon Clay
