Parker Surging
Class of 2019 forward Ramani Parker of Fresno Lady Heat is one of the elite talents in her class nationally. Today in a match-up with Exodus NYC EYBL, Parker showed a high level of offensive versatility scoring the ball from the perimeter, using her size and length to score in the post and pushing the ball in transition putting pressure on the defense. Parker is quickly surging into the discussion as one of the top 10 players nationally and her play today did nothing but help push that discussion.
2019 Guard Yasmeen Chang Makes a Statement
One of the top point guards in the Southeast, Yasmeen Chang, had an impressive showing today for her Tampa Thunder team as they faced off against Spiece Lady Gym Rats of the Nike EYBL. Chang, who thrives when she can push the tempo and get downhill in the halfcourt, took advantage of an up and down game managing to score 24 points leading all scorers and make a lasting impact on the game both offensively and defensively. While it is still early for the prep prospect, Chang already hears from a volume of top 25 caliber programs and her play today could have more calling come August.
For the Gym Rats, 2018 guard Ariel Scott, who recently decommitted from Duke, led the way with 20 points including a late barrage of three's to close the gap and make it the game interesting late in the match. Meanwhile, 2019 sharpshooter Brylee Bartram of the Tampa Thunder had a heck of a day from deep as she managed to knockdown five three-pointers in the match-up versus the Gym Rats after making six three-pointers earlier in the day.
Jones Solidifies Spot Nationally
Going into this summer class of 2019 post Taylor Jones was largely considered to be one of the elite post prospects in her class. This summer, Johnson’s consistency scoring in the paint has kept her in the discussion as one of if not the best post in the 2019 class. The 6-foot-4 prospect is being tracked by programs throughout the country and is quickly becoming a household name nationally. – Keil Moore
Mabrey Gets a Call
2018 guard Dara Mabrey is the last of three sisters to play basketball on the summer circuit. Her older two sisters, Michaela and Marina Mabrey, played their college basketball at Notre Dame. During the July evaluation break, Dara Mabrey got a phone call from the ACC program expressing interest. In the past two summers, Mabrey has blossomed into one of the elite perimeter shooters in the country.

Peeples Turning Heads
Class of 2018 post Rayven Peeples of the West Virginia Thunder could be a sleeper recruit this summer. She has put together several impressive performances this July including a 16 point performance today while playing head to head with 5-star center Valencia Meyers of All Ohio Black. At 6-3, Peeples has the length, athleticism and skill to be an attractive recruit at the next level. – Jonathan Hemingway
