BUFORD, Georgia – The Brandon Clay Elite 100 Showcase allowed some of the nation’s elite prospects to take center stage before the start of the club basketball season.  We offer a Shooting Session Evaluation ahead of the start of the Showcase.  Here are the second set takeaways from that workout:

Abby Bryan

Mechanically, Bryan is a really high level shooter. She has a chance to really separate herself as an elite level specialist. Her shot ends with a consistent tall follow through that most kids this age don't utilize. In that regard, Bryan's shot looks great with two years of high school still remaining. If she can create space down hill, it'll free her up even more to get clean looks from beyond the 3-point line.

Ava Gray

When Gray got her feet set in this eval she was a consistent shooter with solid mechanics for an underclass prospect. She can become the type of player who her Sequoyah coaches can count out to make an open shot look. Gray can continue to get better at holding her follow through until the ball hits the net on her release. She has a tendency to hop on the one bounce into her shot which keeps her from being able to dribble again if the defenses hits her with a hard closeout.

Howard's overall shot looks really good. She's grown leaps and bounds the past three years both physically and mechanically. Both of which are playing a huge role in how well she is shooting the ball. Howard is hopping into her shot instead off the dribble instead of the one - two step on the move. It's easier to counter defenders who closeout hard with the one - two step. That's a place for growth before we meet again in early June.

Stella Lockhart

ELITE
150

Lockhart has been in the gym with me in Atlanta, Chicago and Rhode Island now. It's easy to see that she puts the time in as her shot looks good. Physically, Lockhart is in great shape with this showing probably the best I've seen her to date. She is showing a consistent, tall follow through that gives her range out to the 3-point line. The biggest thing for Lockhart to keep working on until we meet again this summer is getting down hill off the first step.

Finley Parker

Georgia, Class of 2027

ELITE

Parker continues to grow with each eval. In this setting, she was paired with two of the better shooters on the Eastern Seaboard in Sarah Gordon (2025) and Bella Ragone (2026). Parker was able to go shot for shot with them both consistently finishing racks with 8 to 10 makes out of 10 shots. Parker is poised for a big overall spring / summer with Southeast All Stars but especially her penchant as a versatile scorer who can really shoot the basketball.

Addi Petitt

Georgia, Class of 2025

In this shooting session at the Elite 100 Showcase, Petitt showed consistent range to the 3-point line. A left-handed jump shooter, Petitt's left elbow can continue to raise on her jumper to finish high above her eye. She is a good shooter and just as importantly, shoots the ball with confidence on the perimeter.

Bella Ragone

Georgia, Class of 2026

#19

The key for Ragone's progress from the start of the session until we meet again in June was not fading on her shot. She is so bouncy that once the ball leaves her hand she's ready to go make a play. Sticking the landing will only enhance her shooting percentages. Ragone can be an elite level shot maker in the class. A left-handed jump shooter, Ragone's shot is high level when she doesn't fade especially down the stretch as she gets tired. The best part of her current mechanics are that every two shots are the same. That consistency allows her to find a nice in-game rhythm.
