Going into her final high school season, Parker has blossomed into one of the nation’s premier frontcourt shot makers. She has the versatility to shoot the basketball out to the 24-foot mark on the offensive end then guard a primary big on the defensive end. Parker is an elite catch and shoot threat which serves her will in pick and pop situations with guards. There aren’t many prospects in America regardless of class who can do what Parker can in that regard. Her offensive footwork has improved each of her first three seasons. She’s made it a point to lock in on her physical development in that same timeframe as well. The most impressive thing about Parker’s game to me is the pride she takes on the defensive end of the floor. Whether it’s guarding Saniyah Hall on a switch or matchup up with Nation Williams from the opening tip, Parker is willing to step up and take the challenge to keep them at bay. The result of her hard work the past 36 months is a well-polished prospect who is one of the five best players inside the Peach State today. Parker is a two-time Overtime Select invitee and was named as Region Player of the Year as well as a First Team All-State prospect in 2025-26. – Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
A day after her River Ridge team won the region championship, Parker was right back in the gym working on her craft. She's improved her release point and her followthrough during the season. Most players regress during the actual game season due to lack of reps. Parker has actually gone the opposite way and made the effort to hunt extra reps all season long to stay sharp. As a result, she's allowed her mechanics to catch up to her physical growth. The result is one of the nation's premier shotmakers in the freshman class. Next up will be the ability to play out of the mid to pinch post and reading the game from there. -- Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
One of the elite shot makers in the class, Finley Parker is fresh off of a 17-point performance against two Elite-60 caliber seniors in Bre Preston (Texas signee) and Chazadi Wright (Georgia Tech signee) on Saturday evening. Look for her to build on this momentum by coming out ready to attack on both ends of the hardwood from the opening tip. A 6-2 combo forward, Parker already holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia Tech and more. She took unofficial visits to Alabama, Clemson and Georgia Tech during the fall recruiting season. -- Brandon Clay
Parker is shooting it as crisply as we've seen her. She's been in the gym working on her footwork and pre shot mechanics. Every rep in shooting work looks good. That usually translates to similar in-game production within six to 12 months. Parker keeps growing which also keeps changing how her shot is delivered. The good thing is her shot is already in a good place as she keeps adding height to her frame. -- Brandon Clay
Parker's game is literally progressing right in front of our eyes. There was a five minute stretch in a pickup game with Avery Hjelmstad and McKenzie Mathurin that Parker was the most impactful offensive player on the floor. That's a special place. Getting Parker to the next level will be quick, confident reads in what she sees and a reaction according to that read. She's a lot like Hjelmstad in that regard. Parker has all the tools to be a major recruit. -- Brandon Clay
