ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The Brandon Clay All American Training Day Showcase gave our staff to get some of the region’s top up-and-coming prospects in the gym. There is no shortage of talent in the southeastern region.

CLASS OF 2026 STANDOUTS

Jazlyn Bowman has grown into one of the more skilled prospects I get to work with on an annual basis. She has the footwork and shot making ability to keep the defense spaced. Bowman’s willingness to travel the country to work with our staff is part of what has helped elevate her game to this point. She was just in Boise, Idaho with Chris Hansen and his Elite Is Earned staff. Bowman brings that same type of dedication to her work back home as well. Fresh off an ankle injury, Bowman looked like she had not missed a beat. Even in gameplay, she was able to be productive in her first run since the injury.

Kinsey Harper has the shooting range to match almost anyone in the class shot for shot on a national basis. Harper had a 10 3-point game outing this school season. Her ability to make shots coupled with her demeanor are separators in the recruiting process for Harper. She’s the type of guard that schools up and down the East Coast need to help keep opposing defenses honest out of the corners against dribble drive action.

AROUND THE RIM

Class of 2026 Guard Ellison Steinhauer of Pickens (GA) dropped in for 90 minutes worth of skill work before she headed to Adrian Penland’s All-Star Game. Her skill set has been building at a consistent pace. She finished with 21 points in the Game.

Class of 2026 Forward Ellis McCool of Homewood (AL) is on my radar. She has the size and mobility to play inside or outside. McCool can shoot the 3-pointer from the corner or trail post and finish around the rim. That versatility is hard to find in the modern day game.

Class of 2027 Forward Finley Parker of River Ridge (GA) won a state championship a week ago. She was back on the floor working on getting ready for a busy spring / summer before heading to visit Clemson the next day. Parker ended up getting an offer from the Tigers.

Class of 2027 Guard Michel Robbins of Jefferson (GA) did the same before heading to a track meet. Her game is rounding up. She’s spending consistent time on her skill set daily. The work is paying off for Robbins. She looks club season ready.

Class of 2027 Guard Maddie Harkins of Jackson County (GA) was a new face for our staff. Legendary alum, Jesse Wheeler, tossed us the assist on Harkins. She lived up to his praise before the workout. Harkins is a shot making option who is a quality option shooting the 3 off the drive and kick action.

Like Harkins, Class of 2027 Forward Laila Streetman of (GA) was a new face for our staff. Streetman has a real upside given her length and ability to move laterally. Keep an eye on Streetman’s growth as a perimeter shot maker as an indicator of what’s to come with her game.

Class of 2027 Forward Lindsey Kopacek of Starr’s Mill (GA) has a chance to take off this spring / summer. Kopacek had a major school season averaging a double / double in points and rebounds. She’ll look to follow that up by doing the same on a Southeast All Stars club team that will be featured amongst the nation’s best this season.

Class of 2029 Wing Ella David of Oconee (GA) has all the tools to be one of the best in the Peach State. David’s scoring prowess at a young age is a potential separator. She’ll be asked to produce right away and if her work this winter is any indication of what’s to come, David will be ready to do just that.

Class of 2029 Post Ramiyah Simmons of (SC) was with us a year ago. Her game is rounding out nicely after a minor setback with her knee forced her to miss some time. Simmons size and strength allows her to be a factor around the rim. Continuing to work on her conditioning is a place for continued growth.
