Elbourne is a 5'8 guard that has great court sense and a knack for facilitating well within the offense. She draws and kicks naturally to her teammates and likes to mix it up in the paint. Finishing around the rim is where she needs to look to improve because she finds herself in these scoring opportunities in the paint and with her ball skills to work in the key, capitalizing on those short shots open up more lanes for her as a whole. Developing that and a consistent approach in the midrange will open doors for her in terms of her scoring impact. Defensively, she defends on-ball well and is a reliable defender in the half court. Overall, Elbourne brings a strong point guard energy to the floor that allows her to be active scoring and get her teammates involved.
Elbourne is a 5'8 guard in the 2019 class that looks to run the offense and facilitate to her teammates. She has really good athleticism and a quick first step. When she is assertive with her scoring, she is very effective. She showed a great mid-range pull-up in the paint and looked dialed in. She was also very impressive defensively with her approach to defend the ball screens while being vocal with her teammates. Overall, she plays with good awareness, but moving forward needs to develop more assertivess and explosiveness at the rim. She has a huge upside and showed a lot of skills in the showcase games, but needs to take more risks throughout the flow of the game and use her tools. Elbourne is one to watch over the course of the next few years.
