Schenck is a 5'7 guard in the 2018 class that is a very intelligent offensive player. She displayed the ability to score at the rim with her off hand, which shows her growth attacking the basket. She is a consistent player that showed she can take charge and run the offense, which she proved last year as being known as a high motor player. Moving forward, she should look to improve her perimeter shooting as well as continue to improve on her impact in the midrange. She has grown tremendously as a floor leader and needs to be effective scoring and finding her teammates in the midrange, whether its a draw and dish or a short floater over the defense. Overall, Schenck displays great upside and potential as she continues to gain strength and develop her evolving skill set.
Schenck was an impressive 2018 point guard at the Check Me Out. She made really good decisions with the ball in her hand from the guard position and has an ability to score from beyond the arc. Defensively and offensively, she showed huge hustle getting to loose balls and rebounds, which she found a lot of success swooping through and getting long rebounds in the paint, which is great to see guards create second chance points. Offensively, her footwork is sound getting to the basket and is a capable scorer from the perimeter with a quick trigger. Her feel on the court is high energy and has a clear motor that her teammates can feed off of. Going forward, Schneck needs to work on finding her midrange. She facilitates well to her teammates when she gets to the middle of the key in transition, but if she can get comfortable looking for her shot and finding space to get her jumper off, that would make her pretty lethal the distance of the floor. Overall, Schenck has a lot of upside is she continues to approach the game with as much heart and hustle as she does now.
