Walker showed her strong skill set this last October at the Check Me Out Showcase. She is very opportunistic on the offensive end and can finish with both hands at the rim. She had several strong takes to basket and is persistent in her attack. She has a scrappy feel to her game that creates a lot of options for her to score and take risks in the open court in transition. She has a really good feel for getting the ball up the court, and showed she can push the pace and make reads up the court to her teammates. Where she also excelled was her impact defensively. She has a lot of length defending and gets a lot of touches in the passing lanes that turn into steals for her because of her defensive reads and timing. Going forward, she can look to improve her consistency from beyond the arc, to add depth to her attacking game from perimeter to rim. Overall, Walker plays with so much effort and is fun to watch because of her energy level on the floor.
