Wilson has positioned herself as one of the top uncommitted guards nationally heading into the fall signing period. Wilson is a high IQ player and a willing leader on the floor. The rate in which she can take information and translate that into on-court production is quite high. In many ways she has the potential to become a quality coach at some point in the future, should she choose that route. Wilson is a terrific rhythm shooter. When she catches in the flow of the game and fires quickly without thinking, she was one of the best that we evaluated this past summer. She still has room to grow her ball skill and play-making abilities. Especially when looking at her weak hand, the senior guard tends to favor attacking with strong hand rather offering a balanced attack in either direction. – Coach Hemi
From Brandon Clay's Spotlight Workout (6/20/2020)
Simply put, Wilson belongs in this company. She’s best known for her 40-plus-percent 3-point shooting with Danny Riego’s Gym Rats EYBL squad. Much like the aforementioned Brown, it’s easy to overlook the details by labeling Wilson as a shooter. She is capable of making the right read defensively throughout a ball game in addition to understanding exactly what the coach is asking for then serving as an extension of the staff in game.

Wilson’s trajectory has been largely focused on her ability to make the open shot time and time again. While that rang true again this weekend, she too showed a willingness to compete on the defensive end of the hardwood that caught our staff’s attention. Wilson has the size and strength to rebound well from the wing putting that to use in multiple games this weekend. She’s a must add for programs needing a wing with size.

Wilson made an impression as an 8th grader playing against high school aged prospects. She showed herself to be confident and willing to step outside of her comfort zone. She proved to be an effective shot maker who can punish defenders who do not guard her tightly. Equally important she is a good passer who keeps her head up to find cutting teammates. Her fundamental skill combined with good size for a perimeter player gives reason to believe that she will continue to excel moving into her high school days. Added work on her agility and flexiblity will be important for her as she begins to compete against players who are bigger and more athletic.
