DuBois has a lot of confidence running the point guard position. She commands really well and manages the flow of the game. A glue player is how I see her impact because she does a little bit of everything that helps her team compete. Her high IQ allows her to make reads on steals defensively, work well in the pick in roll action and know when to stop and pop in the midrange. She catches and shoots really well and it just adds so much to her game when she is scoring and facilitating teammates all in one consistent attack. Developing more footspeed and defending the on-ball is where she can improve the most this coming year. Overall, DuBois has proven she knows the game and knows the game well.
Dubois is a 5'6 guard that might have been one of the toughest players in the camp. The class of 2019 guard is a new face to the weekend, but is no stranger to the full throttle mentality on the floor. She was getting involved in every loose ball situation. Offensively, she can shoot the 3-ball and is capable of drawing attention from range. She keeps her eyes up in transition, and scans the floor. Overall, she has a high basketball IQ and is a player's coach that values her time on the floor. In the future, Dubois needs to work on developing more consistency from the perimeter and making reads under ball pressure. If she can focus on ball-skill and her attack off the bounce over the course of the next year, that will really add more dimension to what she already brings to the table.
