Doree is a point guard with a diverse skill set. She can affect the game with or without the ball in her hands. She demonstrated her passing abilities by reading the post defense and delivering accurate passes to her teammates on the block. She also showed the ability to finish with either hand in traffic, which is important for a point guard who is typically smaller than most on the court. When she does not have the ball in her hands she moves effectively. Her understanding of spacing and the importance of cutting hard to the rim helps her teammates get open in other places. This one skill is underrated among many lead guards who believe they can only impact the game when they handle the ball. If there is an area that Doree will need to improve coming out of this camp, it is her ability to create space with the ball in her weak hand. Although a confident handler, there will come times when she will need to create plays going downhill. Being able to do that consistently with either hand will be important for her.
