Wallis came to the Top 40 Camp with a reputation as one of the best unsigned seniors in the Southeastern region. She is a sharp shooter that has even improved her shooting technique in the past 8 months. Her work ethic, leadership and determination keeps pressing her game ahead in development. She is a natural wing player who can produce facing the basket or with hustle plays in the paint. She is a capable ball handler who can facilitate the action effectively. If there is an area that Wallis has room for growth it is becoming more explosive laterally. She can put the ball on the floor well in straight lines. However, when changing directions she can sometimes be cut off by quicker defenders.
Wallis has a solid reputation is one of the best shooters to come through the Elite Basketball Academy in recent years. Her size and versatility allow her to impact the game consistently. She is a high energy player who gives great effort in game play and in skills. When Wallis plays alongside of players who know how to set her up for shots, she becomes a very effective weapon. The challenge for Wallis in her final year of high school is to look for her shot without trying to force the issue too much off of the dribble.
Wallis is a high energy guard who specializes in shooting the ball from the perimeter. She is consistent in each viewing of being able to knock down jumpers on the spot up or the one dribble bounce. Her size and energy lend itself well to making an impact each time she steps on to the court. Her challenge moving into her final July on the travel circuit is to prove that she can defend multiple positions on the court. She has the size to rebound, but adding increased footwork on the perimeter will be key for her to guard either back court position.
