News and Notes

Class of 2019 point guard Morgan Robinson-Nwagwu turned heads with her ability to score the ball at all three levels. Robinson-Nwagwu projects as a potential impact prospect leaving our staff comparing her to former NC State guard Miah Specer.

 

 

2019 forward Lanetta Williams has continued to improve her game, showing the ability to score the ball in the halfcourt as well as in transition.  Williams is quickly earning a reputation as a mobile athlete who can contribute on both sides of the ball.

 

 

The Alabama Southern Starz will have a loaded backcourt next year with three of the best guards in the southeast in uniform. The guard trio of Sania Wells, Moria Taylor and Skyla Knight will be tough for most teams to handle as they do a great job of pressuring the ball, pushing the tempo, and making open shots when needed.
