It's never over until it's over.
In this case, the senior class used its last winter to make some statements that the rankings released following the summer evaluation period were in need of a few changes.
Kristine Anigwe, the 6-foot-4 post from Phoenix, Ariz., has continued improving and is now the top overall post player in the 2015 class, and No. 9 overall. Her play for USA Basketball in the late summer, followed by an impressive showing at the Check Me Out NorCal Showcase in October supported the move as she continues to surge towards her incredibly high ceiling.
Another frontcourt player earning a considerable bump in her rating is Texas signee Christina Aborowa, a 6-4 prospect from Philadelphia, Pa., who is now No. 38 in the class.
In the backcourt, the point guard for arguably the top team in the country, Andee Velasco, moves up to No. 41. Her run this summer captured the attention of many recruiters who kicked themselves for not realizing her ability before she committed to Loyola Marymount. She continued to play the point guard position at an incredibly high level this winter and moved up 20 spots behind that effort.
Another point guard earning a move up in the rankings is Georgia Tech signee Ciani Cryor of Philadelphia, Pa., who now sits at 54th in the class. Combo guard Sabrina Haines of Mesa, Ariz., moved up nine spots to No. 62 in the class behind a strong senior season. The 5-9 power guard will bolster the guard depth for Arizona State next fall.
There were more than a dozen other moves made as the 2015 class finished the high school chapter of its collective story.
