LISTEN TO THE BRANDONCLAYSCOUTING PODCAST ON THE 2022 WATCH LIST
The fourth installment of 2022 prospects entering the ELITE 100 Watch List, sees an influx of talent from the middle of the country. Players from Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Pennsylvannia and Wisconsin join the ProspectsNation.com powered list.
While their athleticism is different, Allen has a Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis vibe to her game. Her range and hand-down-man-down confidence jumps right out at you but then she uses her size and strength to post up her defender as well.
Basham jumps out at you in warmups. Kids her height, with her length, aren't supposed to move the way she does. Her ability to rim run, hit fallaway jumpers and be very disruptive defensively are all things that are easily projectable in college.
Beers was one of the 2019 calendar year's biggest risers. Few posts in her class have shown the strength, touch and competitiveness. Her frame translates to the college game now. In three years of developing her game, the upside is major.
Patterson's length, athletic ability makes her a unique prospect in the class nationally. She is a capable finisher around the rim with good hands to catch, keep the ball in play. Patterson still seems to just be scratching the surface with her skill set.
Explosive, shifty and energetic are three words that describe Smith's game. She plays so low to the ground that even good defenders struggle to keep her in front. Her range is expanding as well, making her a terrific playmaker.
