Ott was one of the premier two-way guards during this camp. She is a tough on-ball defender and uses that same quickness to get her own shot in the lane. Unlike other players of her age, Ott is adept at creating quality shots off the dribble. Her pull-up jumper is unique in that fact that many guards do not develop this skill until the next level. Ott also answered the question about the range on her jumper. Her 3-point shot looked crisp in drills. Proving that she can create those type of looks in the pick and roll action will be critical for her value at the collegiate level.
- - Strength
Ott had a good showing both days. She is terrific at creating off the bounce with her shifty handle. She has a slight frame but she is still one of the more aggressive players on the court. Her motor and energy were noteworthy as well. As she gets stronger expect her to finish more and more consistently after contact.
