Mahone is a forward size, feet and skill. She showed range shooting the spot-up 3 very well while also showing strength with the drive to the lane. This type of offensive versatility combined with her high energy attitude is unique in the game today. Mahone still has room to grow in terms of creating space to get her own shot. Also proving that she can defend some of the quickest wings in the game will also add great value to her next level upside. – Coach Hemi
From Brandon Clay's Spotlight Workout
Mahone came in with a fantastic attitude and energy in every drill to match. She has great size at the forward position to go with good feet that allow her to pick up on new footwork quickly. Given the way the game is going, Mahone projects as a player capable of guarding either forward position and could potentially spend limited minutes in a Draymond Green / Andre Iguodala small ball post role as well. If Mahone keeps developing her jumper, the future gets even brighter.
