For the second straight week, Smith took full advantage of the chance to get extra skill instruction. It’s that type of work ethic that has elevated her game to a new level over the last 12 months. For Smith, proving that she can make an open shot off of the bounce is the next step in her progression. If she’ll keep that same energy for the next 12 months, improving that skill shouldn’t be an issue at all.
Smith is a shooting guard who is shooting the ball with a lot more confidence. She is proving that she can master the skills of the game in the drills during camp. Her challenge moving forward is becoming more assertive in game play. Maturing and gaining physical strength will be important in the upcoming years.

Smith is a guard who can knock down the open jumper. She has great technique and confidence to pull the trigger when open. The rest of her game is coming along and she is committed to getting better with every drill and station. Currently still in middle school, Smith is developing physically. She is years away from reaching her potential, but she has a good foundation of skills.
