Holman is an athletic and bouncy guard option. Her confidence has really taken off. Her jumper is continuing to improve. She’s clearly put quite a bit of work into finishing in that in-between range. Her comfort with her floater has pretty much made that her go-to move off the dribble. She got to the paint off the dribble pretty consistently all weekend.
Holman is a guard with good athleticism and an improving jumper. The arc on her shot was noticeable improved from our last evaluation. She was even able to hit step back jumpers after gaining separation from the defense in the midrange. Her ball handling versus pressure was also notable in this viewing. She was able to use footwork and angles to break get out of double teams and not turn the ball over when cornered. Holman still has room to grow with her weak hand confidence. Driving and passing to her left are areas that she should look to improve over the next 12 months. – Coach Hemi
Holman is an athletic guard who ripped through the defense with her driving ability. Her quick first step and determination to get to the bucket were hard for defenders to contain. She used that speed and ball handling ability to lead the fast break and turn defense into offense consistently. Holman has a jump shot that showed promise as well. However, there were times where it lacked consistency. Continued time spent in the gym and focus on holding a high one second follow through will be key for her to turn this into an area of strength.
Holman grabbed attention early in camp with her energy during the skill development sessions. She stays in constant motion in game play. She was selective shooting from the perimeter but did knock down uncontested shots. Working on her off hand will help this young, quick guard find the confidence to take her game up a level.
