It’s been a while since our staff has been on the hardwood with Flores. She has really filled out with great size through her shoulders. Flores jumper and her build give her a chance to be both a high level shot maker and a creator off of the bounce as well. She’s also got all the tools to be a vocal, good on ball defender. -- Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
Flores is quickly making our training academies her second home. It’s easy to forget that we had her training with kids as much as five years older than her this weekend. Flores more than held her own. There is not a concept or drill that we didn’t feel comfortable with Flores being exposed to. She was also paired up with Harley Paynter, a 2,000 point scorer in high school already. Flores has the same type of potential that Paynter did when she first came. -- Brandon Clay
Flores impressed our staff with a picture-perfect jump shot. This is particularly eye-catching for a kid who is still in the sixth grade. Her high release and consistent shooting pocket are exactly what coaches look for in a zone-busting shooting guard. Flores projects to be more than just a shooting specialist. Her long arms and advanced footwork project to a player who should be able to play effectively on either end of the court. Flores will need pay attention to an occasional bad habit in her shot, which is a slight fade. When she misses it is usually because she is leaning to one side. – Coach Hemi

I was impressed with the technique and tools Flores brought a handful of tools to the table. Like most sixth graders, finding a rhythm in game during a showcase will come with time but her skill set is in a good starting place.
