A day after her River Ridge team won the region championship, Parker was right back in the gym working on her craft. She's improved her release point and her followthrough during the season. Most players regress during the actual game season due to lack of reps. Parker has actually gone the opposite way and made the effort to hunt extra reps all season long to stay sharp. As a result, she's allowed her mechanics to catch up to her physical growth. The result is one of the nation's premier shotmakers in the freshman class. One of the elite shot makers in the class, Finley Parker is fresh off of a 17-point performance against two Elite-60 caliber seniors in Bre Preston (Texas signee) and Chazadi Wright (Georgia Tech signee) on Saturday evening. Look for her to build on this momentum by coming out ready to attack on both ends of the hardwood from the opening tip. A 6-2 combo forward, Parker already holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia Tech and more. She took unofficial visits to Alabama, Clemson and Georgia Tech during the fall recruiting season. -- Brandon Clay
Parker is shooting it as crisply as we've seen her. She's been in the gym working on her footwork and pre shot mechanics. Every rep in shooting work looks good. That usually translates to similar in-game production within six to 12 months. Parker keeps growing which also keeps changing how her shot is delivered. The good thing is her shot is already in a good place as she keeps adding height to her frame. -- Brandon Clay
Parker's game is literally progressing right in front of our eyes. There was a five minute stretch in a pickup game with Avery Hjelmstad and McKenzie Mathurin that Parker was the most impactful offensive player on the floor. That's a special place. Getting Parker to the next level will be quick, confident reads in what she sees and a reaction according to that read. She's a lot like Hjelmstad in that regard. Parker has all the tools to be a major recruit. -- Brandon Clay
Parker continues to grow with each eval. In this setting, she was paired with two of the better shooters on the Eastern Seaboard in Sarah Gordon (2025) and Bella Ragone (2026). Parker was able to go shot for shot with them both consistently finishing racks with 8 to 10 makes out of 10 shots. Parker is poised for a big overall spring / summer with Southeast All Stars but especially her penchant as a versatile scorer who can really shoot the basketball. -- Brandon Clay
