Johnson has been on the floor with our staff in both Dallas and again in Boston. Due to her play, Johnson is a breakout name of the fall for our staff. With scholarship offers from Boston College and Virginia Tech alike, she is one of the premier options in the region. Johnson made a name for herself earning a spot on Exodus EYBL roster last summer. Look for the smooth, versatile wing player to stamp herself as a premier option in the state this school season. -- Brandon Clay

Johnson is a super talented guard with the skills and athleticism to attract plenty of college recruiting attention over the next few years. Standing at 6-feet tall she has a frame much like that of a wing or even a forward. However, Johnson’s ball handling is advanced. She can work the pick and roll action as a primary handler and make many of the reads going in either direction. She proves consistently that she can hit the roll for easy scores in the lane. She is also capable of hitting the 3-point shot when the defense goes under a screen. Her body control and footwork when she gets into the lane is also impressive. She uses pivots and turnarounds to hit shots over outstretched defender’s hands. The key for Johnson moving forward will to be maximize her strength and athleticism. Gaining that type of maturity will help her finish through contact more consistently. – Coach Hemi
