Parrish might be the best set shooter in the class. Her ability to make shots off the move / bounce in the 12-15 foot range could potentially be a separator longterm in her game. She has the skill set and footwork to take her overall game up another notch on both ends of the floor before she finishes her freshman year in Eugene. Parrish is one to keep an eye on. -- Brandon Clay
Parrish stood out among all prospects regardless of class this year. Her versatility to be effective inside or out is evident. She has range on her jumper to pair with her ball handling skill. Her height gives her vision to deliver the basketball to teammates when she is runs the team as a lead guard. At the same time Parrish is polished enough to post up smaller or slower defenders on the interior. The best jump in her game will come when she matures physically. She is only heading into her first year of high school basketball so we expect to see her game fill round out nicely in the next few years.
Parrish's skill continues to round out each time she attends an EBA camp. Her ball handling ability for a 6-foot plus eighth grader is impressive. She showed footwork while facing the basket, which makes her a wing with nimble feet. Parrish also sports a consistent, high follow through which gives her range out to the arc. All of this combined with the fact that she has height and athleticism puts her on the radar as one of the best prospects in the Midwest as she enters high school.. Her game is not complete as she will need to add strength while also learning how to play in a more physical game in the future. We will keep a close eye on her progression in future evaluations.
Parrish is an exciting young prospect, because of her combination of skill, length and court presence. She has the size of a post player, but she has the ball handling skills that allow her to be a point guard. At this camp she showed her ability to get down hill and score at the rim. She could be compared as a 'young Blair Green,' who is a 2018 prospect from Kentucky. Parrish will need mature physically and stay focused, but she is on a good trajectory as a prospect.
Parrish is a wing with great size. She is equally effective at shooting from the perimeter and handling the basketball. Although many players at her age and size will play inside, Parrish has already developed an advanced skill set. She is creative handler who can create space with the dribble. Parrish is a good offensive scorer off the move. She still has plenty of physical development left in front of her, but she proved that she is on a good trajectory moving forward.
