Rabun County star Georgia Stockton verbally committed to Presbyterian after visiting campus again on Friday. Stockton, a 5-foot-8 guard, was committed to the Blue Hose before a spring coaching change. On her visit Friday, she spent time with new coach Alaura Sharp and reconfirmed her pledge to the Big South Conference school afterwards.

MY TAKE: Stockton is a really intriguing prospect at the guard spot. She has the work ethic and motor as a person to enhance her natural physical gifts at the next level. In that way, she reminds me of Amanda Thompson (Mercer senior). Stockton's toughness, grit and understanding of how hard she needs to work on a daily basis is a real skill. She potentially could play either guard spot based on level / style of play. If Stockton can shoot the 3-pointer in the mid to high 30’s percentage wise, then her game goes to another level as a result.
