SUWANEE, Ga. -- The cross section of talent at the Elite Basketball Academy Super 64 Camp proved to be an opportunity for some of the top prospects in the country to test their skills against one another. The energy at Suwanee Sports Academy was electric. The trainers and instructors definitely enhanced the quality of basketball play throughout the weekend. Here is a look at four players to know.
Brooke Copeland (Cleveland, Tenn.), Bradley Central HS-2014
Copeland continues to draw attention with her consistent play and the intensity that she brings to the game. The 6-foot-2 post player performed well the EBA Super 64 Camp. She was impressive in the low post and also showed that she can step out and play effectively facing the basket. Most impressive, was her ability to match up well with Duke commit Erin Mathias. Copeland has versatile skills that will be assets at the next level.
Victoria Harris (Snellville, Ga.), Parkview HS-2015
We are continuously impressed with the play of Harris. The 6-3 post player is becoming a dominant force in the paint. One of the things that make her special is her ability to grab a rebound and push the ball out on the fast break. Her ballhandling ability and her selfless play make her an asset from the block to beyond the arc. As her confidence increases, she has the opportunity to be one of the best post players in her class.
Ereyanna Magee (Hattiesburg, Miss.), Oak Grove HS-2015
What a difference a couple of months can make in a player. The 6-0 power forward has shown improvement in tracking rebounds with a better, fine-tuned aggression. Magee has a raw skill set that, when it is dialed in, will make a valued addition to a program that needs length and a player with a good motor. The left-handed Magee is developing a solid midrange shot and is becoming more proficient from the free-throw line.
Jessica Font (Orlando, Fla.), Timber Creek HS-2015
Font is evolving into a multi-faceted player that makes her teammates better. She is becoming adept at creating scoring opportunities for her teammates and setting the proverbial table. The 5-7 point guard also shot the ball well over the two-day event. Follow @StephenPeckPSB
