Mallegni is a wing with good size and shooting touch. She showed herself to be more than just a spot up shooter during the camp, however. She has the footwork to expand her game into a crafty all-around scorer. However, her range and length should always be the traits that set up the rest of her game. One area that Mallengi can look to improve coming out of this academy is not settling for contested jumpers. As good as she is with her shot, making sure that the defense is balanced when guarding her is critical. – Coach Hemi

Mallegni has legitimate size and length at an early age. Projection wise, she’s a quality frontcourt option who can be successful long term scoring around the rim or facing the basket if she keeps working on her game. Mallegni was more than willing to try some of the perimeter oriented drill work that we were focused on over the two days and left a more complete player as a result.
