Davis is a really consistent shooter in her mechanics. She puts in the time at home repetition wise and it shows. For Davis, she's a pitch and catch shotmaker meaning the ball is out of her hands in short order. There's no real extra motion in her shot process. Against elite competition where the game speeds up, Davis will have to lock in on keeping her feet lined up and not out of box. All the tools are there for her to keep progressing as a shotmaker this club season. -- Brandon Clay / @BrandonClayPSB
Davis displayed sharp footwork in the shooting drills and in gameplay here. She has shown herself as a dynamic playmaker in that regard with the ability to score it off the bounce in the midrange as well as from the outside. Davis rises up on her pull-up game in a way that is unique to her. The key for Davis going forward is to not float left to right on her jumper. -- Brandon Clay
Davis has really blossomed into a quality guard prospect. She's got an advanced skill set for her age with the ability to create for others based on her willingness to attack downhill off the dribble. After winning a HS state title as a seventh grader, Davis has set the bar high for the remainder of her school career. As her physical frame continues to mature, it's very reasonable to expect Davis to keep raising that bar with each passing evaluation. -- Brandon Clay
Davis is a smaller guard with solid fundamentals. She is a good shooter and a confident ball handler. Although Davis is short, she has long arms which gives us reason to believe that she will lengthen out soon. Davis needs to continue to work on her defense away from the ball. Working on jumping to helpside and not being locked in is key to being a good all around defender.
- - Size
Davis is a young point guard who has a bright future on the court. What may be surprising is that she still has more than a few years before she even walks the halls of a high school. She uses both hands to handle and to pass. Most importantly she keeps her eyes up to see the floor and to feed the post. Currently Reese is limited by her size and her slight frame. However, as she matures and grows, we see those things as no longer being considered liabilities. – Coach Hemi

Davis was the youngest player in the Academy. Davis’ lack of experience didn’t keep her from showing high level footwork at an early age. She has the ability to take coaching then immediately apply it to her game. In that way, Davis projects as a guard we’ll be excited to track and train for years to come.
