Holt, 5'8 guard in the 2020 class. Day 1 played with a high motor and set the tempo in a lot of drillwork. Did really well exposing defenders by getting to the basket and finishing through contact. In the past year, its apparent she has developed a lot of strength and confidence in her game. In the 3-on-3 games, she played relentless on both ends and out did with her overall energy. Also, saw her knock down several 3-balls without hesitation. Continuing to develop consistency and midrange is key for her.
Holt is a 5'7 guard who plays with great court vision and toughness in the back court position. She finished a tough And 1 in transition and attacks the lane well as a whole. She's very scrappy and that creates opportunities for her to score because she's opportunitistic on both ends of the floor. Developing more strength and passing off the drive are areas she can look to focus on improving right away. She is always looking to gain the advantage which allows her to capitalize on mistakes made by the opposing team and expose driving lanes. Overall, Holt was active and her decision making translated into productive plays on the floor.
