Martin is an impressive 5'11 guard in the 2019 class that has an incredible feel for the game. Her attacking ability and court vision getting to the midrange is an area she really excels in. She has a high IQ and makes sound decisions with the ball in her hands. She creates space for her shot and has a lethal midrange game. She can penetrate to the basket really efficiently and uses her strength to create better angles for her shot which is a high level manuever. Her mindset gives her the edge in most, if not all match-ups, and her ability to impact the game is not limited in any aspect. She is hard to guard because she will penetrate all the way to rim with strength, stop and pop in the midrange, or score it off the bounce beyond the arc. At 5'11, there isn't much room for defenders guarding her to make any mistakes and she scores against top-tier players regardless. Defensively, she is an athletic rebounder, can block shots in her area, and takes pride guarding the on-ball. An area she look to improve on is becoming more of a vocal leader. With her work ethic and talent, her teammates are going to feed off how she leads by example, but adding more assertiveness from a communication stand point will help her be a great floor general. Overall, Martin has a very high ceiling and is a player in the future that has a lot of opportunity to turn heads at the next level.
