Koval teamed up with Heckel during the club season for Exodus NYC. Their chemistry on the floor here in Phoenix reflects the partnership they’ve had the past two years. Koval is one of the rare high school post players who can post, seal and catch a lob from the top of the key. There aren’t five post players in the class who can consistently take advantage of a one-on-one interior match-up to score the way Koval can. She'll have to keep developing her patience on the entry. -- Brandon Clay
Koval is a prime example of a WNBA sized post player who has ascended into the top five discussion, nationally. Koval has been consistent at multiple major high school events, including the Nike Tournament of Champions back in the school season as well as the Brandon Clay Summer Invite with Exodus NYC. She catches, keeps the ball high and finishes at the rim. Add that to her ability to make the faceup jumper and she presents a tough matchup for almost any post kid in high school today. For Koval, playing through contact against similar sized post kids will be a task to work on at the collegiate level. She has the physical tools. -- Brandon Clay
