Havas is a guard who can do a number of different things well on the court. She is a utility player of sorts who can defend multiple spots on the court while also providing help on the offensive end. Havas has value, because she can a point guard and deliver the ball to her team's best shooter. Or she can be a spot up shooter who can stretch the floor for her team's play-maker. The next step for Havas will be to work on creating her own shot in spots. Looking to expand her game in those ways, without doing too much, will only help her add value to role on her team.
Havas stepped onto the stage with older prospects this weekend. She proved she could play right alongside of many of the nation's best. Her size and skill as a point guard make her one of the more promising prospects in her class in the state of Florida. She showed the ability to put the ball on the floor to penetrate and kick to open teammates. Her challenge in upcoming months is to continue to grow all areas of her game, but also to build an area that she can specialize in.
Havas is a wing who showed very good speed at the Super 64 Camp in June. Her ability to fly up and down the floor allowed her to lead the break with the ball or finish when running the lanes. Her size is an added plus, which should point to more impact in the future. Adding counter moves with her dribbling in the open court should help her in the immediate future to be a more dynamic play-maker.
