Stokes continues to show she's an elite shooter no matter the gym she's in. Her delivery is smooth and she gets her feet set and the ball in her pocket very efficiently. She complements her shooting well with solid downhill drives, especially going right. She utilzies her speed to put defenders in bad spots and has a knack for drawing contact and fouls. She knows her game and her spots really well which allows her to project confidence in the halfcourt. Where we'd like to see her game grow is her ballhandling against tough pressure defenders.
Stokes possesses quintessential point guard qualities. With a well-rounded skill set, she blends her role as a facilitator and scorer. A natural passer, she has knack for creating off the dribble and effortlessly finding open teammates.
She's not just limted to playmaking. Stokes has a nice outside shot, allowing her to keep defenses honest. Inside the paint, her athleticism shines through as a creative finisher.
One standout trait observed over the recent weekend was her growing confidence. As the games progressed, Stokes seemed to find her rhythm, allowing her game to thrive. For her continued development as a premier point guard, the consistency of her assertiveness will be pivotal. While she's already showcasing her scoring, creating, and ability to handle in-game pressure, there are facets she can enhance. Stepping up as a vocal leader and instilling confidence in her leadership will be key areas of growth.
