Neese is a fundamental guard with a mindset of improvement. She does a great job of taking instruction and working on her weaknesses during the academy. Neese can really shoot the ball from the perimeter. She can immediately contribute to most rosters with this skill. This combined with her basketball IQ all point to a bright future for her on the court. She will need to add strength to her core and become more vocal in order for her to take a step up in her game.
Neese is a young guard with a sweet shooting stroke. Her compact, consistent release gives her positive results in drills and during games. Neese is still learning the game, but she has a great base of IQ already. She adapted to new concepts quickly and was able to fulfill several roles aside from being a knockdown shooter. Continuing to improve her ball handling, particularly keeping her eyes up when dribbling, should be of top priority when she hits the gym for workouts.

This was our first chance to work with Neese. It was evident very quickly that she has a chance to be another college level guard coming out of the Boyd County High pipeline. Neese can shoot the basketball and has a solid skill set handling the ball as well. She’ll have a chance to keep filling out physically in due time but for now, Neese has all the tools to be a name we talk about for years to come.
