The adage of defense travelling is very true. For Chavez, she’s one of the rare cases where both defense and offense travel. In an era where elite perimeter scoring is truly at a premium, Chavez is one of the best at the high school level in recent memory. She has the whole arsenal in her offensive bag. Whether it’s creating off the dribble to score, finding a teammate on the kick corner 3-pointer or making a 3-pointer of her own, Chavez can make whatever play is needed to get a bucket. Don't be surprised to see Chavez be able to be impactful right away at the highest levels of college basketball in the 2025-26 season. Chavez is arguably the most impactful player in high school basketball today regardless of class. She is capable of getting her shot off in virtually any scenario with the vision to make passes as need be. Chavez has a unique ability to actually score at all three levels with legitimate in-game shooting range out to 23 feet already. At lot of people say that a prospect can score at three levels but Chavez can really get it done. She is in the same category that Juju Watkins and Mikaylah Williams were in as preps in that regard.
