Cruz is a heads up player. She slashes lanes to get steals. Offensively she is a tough rim attacker. She keeps control and the ball high, doesn’t leave it short and plays through contact. Really like her ability to get in the paint and make something happen. She is a confident perimeter shooter and believes in shot. She performed better with a catch and shoot situation versus off the bounce. Going forward, would like to see her penetrate more north/south consistently and overall shooting consistency. Overall, tough player that likes to compete.
