Davis, who has already signed with Rhode Island, is a major factor on the inside. She has the size and power to be an effective option at the forward spot. She has the skill to handle it and an emerging face up game offensively. Couple those attributes with her willingness to make plays around the rim rebounding and defending and it’s hard to find players who bring more to the table than Davis does.
Davis is a versatile prospect who projects to impact in a variety of ways at the next level. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what she does best because she does many things well. Her 3-point jump shot is consistent, and she is proving that she can hit it off the kick out or while moving off screens. Interestingly, Davis is effective scoring in the paint. She uses her size and superb footwork to gain angles to score with her back to the basket. As it is with many wing prospects at the high school level, Davis is asked to play along the frontline for her high school team. She excels in this role and capitalizes when she gets into 1 on 1 situations in the paint. We believe that Davis can also excel at the next level while playing on the perimeter. She is a very instinctual defender. She anticipates plays in helpside and will often be the player who gets a steal or a deflection in a key moment. Equally as important, Davis can lead the break and find open players with the pass. Davis makes plays in many ways, but she still has room to grow as a prospect. When facing the basket, showing she has confidence in weak hand dribble moves. Expect Davis to be impactful her senior season and once she finds a college home. – Coach Hemi
