Ouimette is a wing with ideal size and shooting ability. She showed range to the arc and displayed an advanced pull-up jumper. Add in her willingness to be coached and improve and Ouimette has the ingredients for future success. An area where Ouimette can grow is knowing how to use her length. She often has an advantage in traffic but does not always seize the moment. She should grow in this area with experience. – Coach Hemi
From Brandon Clay's Spotlight Workout
Ouimette was one of the most naturally gifted middle schoolers in the Academy. Add that to her willingness to be taught throughout the sessions and it’s easy to project her as an impact player when she gets to high school. She can shoot the open 3-pointer, has the skill to be an inside / outside threat and the length to play multiple positions. She’s firmly on our radar.
For such a young player Ouimette’s patience on the floor was impressive. She showed she can attack the basket, find a pull-up jumper. All signs of a smart and impactful offensive prospect. Moving without the basketball and getting her shot off quicker on catch and shoot are areas we’d like to see improve over the next few years as she gets stronger. Her toughness and willingness to attack was a consistent piece to her game throughout.
