Boyd is an intriguing prospect. She stands at 5-10 and has range to stretch the floor with her jumper. She is fundamental enough to be able to face the basket and facilitate the offense. She showed her willingness and vision to feed the post while spotting up on the wing. Her length will allow her to defend both inside and out, which gives her versatility. The next step for Boyd will be to tighten up her ball handling to become more confident to attack defenders off the dribble. When this happens we expect to see Boyd's ability to score to both as a spot up shooter and off the move.
Boyd showed a diverse skill set while having great size on the perimeter. Standing at 5-10, she also has the ability to put the ball on the floor and finish with either hand. Her ability to hit the spot up jumper gives her a skill set that should be able to impact for years to come.
Boyd is a combo forward who brings activity to the court consistently. She showed nice footwork around the basket to gain position on both ends of the floor. Her specialty right now appears to be her ability to rebound. She has very good timing to snatch rebounds out of the air and does a good job getting off of the ground.
