In the past week Oregon picked up a verbal commitment from 6-foot-3 forward Sierra Campisano of San Diego, Calif., a member of the class of 2016. Campisano impressed with her play at Check Me Out SoCal this past spring. Here is a look at the player Oregon is going to get:

Campisano is a skilled post who has a game a lot like current USC senior Cassie Harberts. She can score in the post and does a very good job sealing and fighting for position around the basket. In addition to playing with her back to the basket, Campisano can face the basket and knockdown a midrange jumper. The 6-foot-3 prospect has range to about a step inside the 3 point line and could very well become a stretch 5 before she steps on a college campus.

In addition to Campisano, Oregon holds a verbal commitment from 5-11 forward Jayde Woods of Yorba Linda, Calif. The combination of Campisano and Woods gives Oregon two ELITE 100 caliber prospects in the 2016 class. Oregon currently has the No. 49 ranked recruiting class for 2015.

Ahart To Seton Hall

Seton Hall added an ELITE 100 caliber guard in the class of 2017 this week when Nia Ahart of Gross Pointe, Mich., made a verbal pledge to the Big East school. Ahart, who showed an abundance of potential and upside playing this summer on the Nike EYBL stage, is a playmaking point guard who can run a team and distribute the ball.

With her verbal commitment, Ahart joins class of 2016 wing Ali Fitzgerald of Penfield, N.Y., as the second underclass commitment for Seton Hall.

AROUND THE RIM

3-Star Post Guy to BC: Boston College picked up a verbal commitment from 6-2 post Emma Guy of Ontario, N.Y., Guy is a true back-to-the-basket post prospect who has a soft touch around the rim. Guy is the second member of the class of 2016 to make a verbal pledge to the ACC school as she joins 5-10 wing Jasmine Taylor of Springfield, Va.

3-Star Post Jones to Tulane: When 6-2 post Brogan Jones of Little Rock, Ark., made a verbal pledge to Tulane, the Green Wave added skill and size to its frontline. Jones has a good feel for the game and a willingness to compete on both sides of the ball.
