SEC leads the way on a busy weekend of Official Visits
Florida
On the recruiting front, first-year coach Cameron Newbauer and his staff have hit the ground running as they look to rebuild the SEC program. Last weekend the Gators hosted four-star wing Donetta Johnson, the No. 28 ranked player in the class of 2018, this weekend the Gators are busy again as they will host five-star post Valencia Myers and four-star point guard Zipporah Broughton while the football team hosts Tennessee on a big SEC Saturday.
For Newbauer and his staff this makes three early fall weekends with them hosting ELITE 150 prospects, the Gators had Ariel Johnson on campus early this fall, Johnson later made a verbal pledge to the SEC program. In addition, the Gators have done an unofficial visit with four-star forward Jaida Patrick who is a member of the ELITE 60 in the class of 2019. This early recruiting momentum is a great sign for Gator fans.
