SUWANEE, Ga. – The Elite Basketball Academy Fab 5 Camp has become a staple of Labor Day Weekend for players looking the competition that is usually reserved for July. With more than 100 players in the gym, we take a look at the upperclassmen who stood out at Suwanee Sports Academy.

Jordan Lewis (Windermere, Fla.), Central Florida Elite –2016

Lewis, can score inside and out. She has the tools that make her tough to defend. Lewis’ strength and athletic ability give her versatility at the guard position. The 5-foot-8 guard is a tenacious defender, who is able to guard taller players with her quickness and strength. Lewis is tough to defend on the offensive end with her deep range and her ability to beat you off the dribble. She was impressive in how she finished at the rim with contact. With interest coming from school like Florida, Southern Miss and others, Lewis has a variety of options.

Faustine Aifuwa (Dacula, Ga,), GA Red Storm – 2016

Aifuwa has had an awesome summer. The 6-4 center was a commanding force on both ends of the floor. She is developing into a go-to scoring center. Her ability to run the floor is an asset that will benefit her at the next level. Aifuwa is turning the corner in her basket development.

Jordan Stallworth (Lawrenceville, Ga.), GA Red Storm – 2016

It is great to see the positive progression of Stallworth. The 6-0 power forward is showing more confidence and command of the game. She was very vocal on both ends of the floor and showed signs of being a leader as well. We expect good things to come her way at the next level as her development continues.

Ananda Jones (Midlothian, Va.), BWSL Richmond– 2016

Good point guards play with poise and purpose and that is exactly what 5-6 Jones brings to the floor. She has an uncanny command of the game and the ability to break down defenses off the dribble. Jones has playmaking ability that is enhanced by her explosiveness with the basketball and her crafty passing. Jones is one to watch in this class.

Tirenique Broadwater (Achworth, Ga.), Georgia Pistols – 2015

Broadwater brought a lot of energy to camp. The 6-0 small forward has a nose for the basketball and is aggressive on the boards. Her ability to run the floor is an asset that will add quickness to her team and enhance the transition game. Her game will be enhanced as she gets stronger.
