CARTERSVILLE, Georgia – One of the top July viewing events, year in and year out, is the Peach State Basketball Summer Invitational. The field comes from all parts of the country and the cross-circuit matchups give the players and scouts alike an excitement level you can’t get most of the summer with show sponsored teams in their own leagues.
That diversity of the field makes for great conversation about the best players in the country. In this Best of Summer Invite Series, we’ll look at different impacts players have on the game and our selections for who did the most in that area.
SHOOTERS
Sara Zabrecky
Zabrecky exceled in her role as a shooting specialist for All Ohio EYBL this summer. The 5-9 guard created opportunities for herself when she did not have the ball in the half-court. Her willingness to move off screens, change pace and keep her defender off balance are the reasons why she found so many open shots around the perimeter.

Wynter Rogers
Rogers is a dynamic option on or off the ball. She's listed in the shooter category but honestly does a little of everything for the Mavericks. Rogers play here put her in the discussion for the Elite100 expansion nationally.

Lexi Donarski
Donarski has been on the radar as one of the top guards in the class for sometime. This summer she’s taken her game from crafty guard who is lethal in catch and shoot situations to a player who can shoot it in just about every situation. With WI Flight Elite she runs the point when needed but when it’s time for her to score she created shots for herself and showed her range is several steps behind the line. The Iowa State commit had a terrific showing at Summer Invite.
