Gilley's standout trait is her high level of competitiveness. Throughout the camp, she remained fully engaged, focused, and committed to every aspect of the training. Her proficiency in shooting the ball from long range is evident as she frequently attempts such shots, utilizing her quick release for an advantage. Her energy is noteworthy, and she actively contributes to plays on both ends of the court, consistently staying involved in the game.
Gilley stands 5-6 but has the ability to play taller because of her strength. She has a good handle for a freshman. She has some nice counter, change of direction moves and was at her best in straight line drives initiating contact against smaller defenders. Adding some change of pace to her game should really open up her options offensively as she has the counters multiple cross options in her repertoire. When passing the ball, which she was consistently looking for teammates, she showed a lot of zip on her passes. Her shooting mechanics looked good and she just needs reps and confidence to expand her range.
