Brown is a strong framed guard with footwork and versatility. Her footwork translates well to the defensive end. She chops her feet crisply on perimeter closeouts. She also uses her strength to post up and exert her will in traffic. Brown’s offensive game is coming along. She has a good grasp on the fundamentals which will flourish as she puts more time in the gym and in the skills of the game. Working on the nuances of the game particularly the finesse and body control will help her become more productive as she climbs the ranks.
Brown is a physical player and it’s fun to watch her pursue the basketball. She is aggressive rebounding from the perimeter and carries more strength than most players her age. She is tough and not afraid to play through contact which is great to preview. Going forward, adding more change of speed and direction to her rim attacking will allow her to create more space at the basket, giving her cleaner looks at the rim and more scored buckets. Using her strength to take more space around the basket and finish will be an area for her to capitalize in over the next year. Her upside is a very high ceiling if she continues to develop her skillset.
