Dunne is a veteran Check Me Out player that continues to impress with her cool confidence. She's known for her high IQ and quick scoring abilities in the lane. She reminded us this past weekend all over again her floor general capabilities and her strong understanding to direct teammates. That isn't always the easiest feat when you are meeting a new set of teammates over the weekend, but Dunne has the experience to get that mutual respect on the floor. She's smooth in the lane, has a soft touch at the rim and continues to hone her ball skills. Continuing to develop strength and finding her midrange jumper consistently is where I see her growth coming into play over the next season.
Dunne is an incredible lefty point guard in the 2020 class and has worked hard to develop her ball skill. She uses a crossover combo at the top of the key to break down defenders to get in the lane. She is a lefty, and that provides a fresh look to the guard position. She can knock down the 3-ball and make reads coming off the ball screen to the post. Impressive IQ for a player of her age. Where Dunne can look to improve is in her explosiveness and vocalness. Dunne is groomed to be a point guard in control at the next level, but being more vocal and assertive with her teammates will help her lead at a higher level. Overall, Dunne has the star power to be an impact player at the next level, and is showing all the right signs to be a highly recruited player if she continues on the path that she is on.
