Beyer is a guard with a lot of moxy. She plays the game at full tilt and makes things happen on either end of the court. Her willingness to defend stood out during the academy. While many kids show up to camps and look to shoot, Beyer tried to be the player that made it difficult for those only looking for highlights. On the offensive end, Beyer displayed a great handle. She dribbled and passed with either hand in order to create angles to deliver the ball to her teammates. When she did not have the ball in her hands, she was working cuts and trying to create space off the penetration. Beyer can shoot the ball well right now, however she has room to gain consistency. Working on her balance and not fading to the right (specifically) is a big area for her to pay attention to in future development workouts. – Coach Hemi

Beyer is a guard who showed here that she can make the right read and complete the play. She has good size coupled with strength. Beyer’s skill set to keep defenses honest with the 3-pointer will play a major role in her game longterm. She is a competitor even in drill work. If Beyer made a mistake, she wanted another turn right away to correct the error. That menatality will take her a long way in this game.
