Fromm, 5'8 guard in the 2020 class. Offensively, Fromm is still active and assertive in her game play. She will shoot open 1-2 step shots on the perimeter with time and space. She is also finishing better going at the rim. She is most succesful in a straightline drive as opposed to weaving in the lane. Her growth has come a long way in the last couple of years and her strength is coming with more age and confidence. She has always been an assertive player, but watching her skill set grow to where it is now, is allowing her to have a stronger impact on the floor. She is attacking the ball screen well and while developing strength more and more each year is going to give her an edge, she is really focused on the floor. Defensively, she is also impressive with her energy and guard rebounding. Overall, Fromm is making strides from the backcourt position and is taking advantage of the opportunities presented to her on the floor.
Fromm may have had the most command we saw all weekend. She has no problem being the one to take initiative and handle responsibility on the floor. At 5’7, she has good guard size and a lot of length that play out well for her when she is attacking the basket. She also shoots the 3-ball, which is sound, but adding more consistency will be a key component for her to add to her game. The best part about Fromm’s game is her willingness and that’s a character trait that almost can’t be taught. She is a heads up player, very opportunistic and has a lot of upside as she is only in the 2020 class. Developing a little more consistency at the rim and beyond the arc will elevate her game to the next level.
